PUTARURU. One of the greatest of British pictures will be screened at Putaruru next Saturday, the title being “ The Only Way.” The film is adapted from Charles Dickens’ wonderful story “ A Tale of Two Cities” (Paris and London), dealing with the French Revolution, and Sir John Martin-Harvey gives a notable impersonation of Sydney Carton. COUNTRY CIRCUIT. Laugh your troubles away by seeing “ One Round Hogan ” at Tokoroa on Saturday. For sheer side-aching work this picture is hard to beat. At Te Whetu on the 12th a no certificate picture for adult audiences only, entitled “ Triumph of the Rat,” will bo screened.
