TIRAU CLUB. The annual meeting of the Tirau Club was held in -the Tirau Hall on Tuesday, when a fair number of members were present. The president, Mr. J. Keane, was in the chair. The balance-sheet showed a credit after the season’s working of £9 11s 7d. Officers were elected as follow : Patron, Mr. J. W. Anderson (reelected); president, Mr._ J. Keane re-elected); vice-presidents, Mrs. McCambridge, Messrs. F. Rose, S. J. Bear, M. Horscroft and W. Hetherington ; secretary and treasurer, Mr. G. Wilson ; auditor, Mr. E. W. Jordan ; committee, Mesdames A. Bonney, W. Craig, Misses Cowan, Harrison, Clarke, Hetherington, Messrs. H. Selby, W. ,T. Brabyn, E. Neil, A. Bragg, S. Sarah, A. Gray and J. Hawes ; delegates to Waikato East Association, Messrs. G. Wilson and W- T. Brabyn ; club captain, Mr. E, Neil; vice-captain, Mrs. W. Craig; selectors, Mrs. A. Bonney (ladies), Mr. H- ’Selby (men); caretaker, Mr. W. Hetherington. It was decided to again affiliate with the Waikato East Association. The fixing of t)ie opening day was left to the committee. The following were appointed to interview the Domain Board : Messrs. Keane, Brabyn and Wilson. It was decided that the subscriptions remain the same as last year, men £1 ss, ladies 15s.
