Gearless Motor.

AN ADEQUATE TRIAL. (By Motus). The gearless motoring device chronicled in the cable news last week is probably the same one as was mentioned in these pages about a year ago but not the Constantinesco, for this invention cannot be applied to any make of car. The device the message alludes to is really not gearless, but an infinitely variable, self-adjusting gear. It gave great promise in its initial trials, and now that it has done 25,000 miles with satisfaction we may expect that within a few years there will be no such thing as changing gears, either for new cars or for those now running on the roads.
