A motoring party stopped at a lonely ■ Scottish farm and asked if they could have a drink of milk. The farmer’s wife agreed, but add-
ed: “ Ane o’ ye will hae tae drink oot I o’ a bowl.” j When the milk arrived a pig came | into the kitchen and showed a partiI cular interest in one of the motorists. | “ Your pig seems to know me,” he remarked to the farmer’s wife. ! “ Na, na,” she replied; “ it’s no’ you ) he kens—it’s the bowl.”
