PUBLIC NOTICE. The Matamata County proposes to stop the following road under the provisions of “ The Public Works Act 1908,” a road containing 6 acres 1 rood 29 perches passing through Lots 2 and 3 on Deposited Plan No. 15283 being part of Tokoroa No. One Block and shown on plan approved by the Survey Department under No. 23784. A plan of the road proposed to be stopped lies open to public inspection at the Office of the said Council at Tirau during eight weeks from the date of this notice. TOgOROA RABBIT DISTRICT. , Public Notice is hereby given that the Tokoroa Rabbit Trustees Board intends, at a Meeting to ,be held in the Town Hall, Tokoroa, on MONDAY, 20th AUGUST, 1928, to make and levy a Rate of one penny (Id) per acre upon all Rateable Property in the above District. Such Rate is for the year ending 31st DECEMBER, 1928, and is payable in one sum at the Office of the Secretary and Collector ip Putaruru. The Roll is open for inspection during office hours. J. R. O. COUNTY OF MATAMATA. MOTOR LORRY REGULATIONS. Notice is hereby given that the Matamata County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Clause 4 of Regulation 9 of “ The Motor Lorry Regulations 1927.” has prohibited the use, on that portion of No. 19 (Waitoa-Taupo) Main Highway between Maraetai Road and the Taupo County Boundary, of all Motor Lorries other than those of Class A (laden weight 21 tons) from the 26th day of JULY until the Ist day of NOVEMBER, 1928. Provided that this prohibition may be varied in special cases, and on such conditions as the Council may think fit to impose, on written application setting forth all facts in support thereof.
