A team of Maori hockey girls from Ngatira Visited Putaruru last Saturday and iplayed' a friendly game -with the Putaruru ' team. Most of the visitors were iWeTperienced, but the team made a fair showing for their first game together. For the visitors Misses Rang! Martin, Molly Thompson and Terry were the best, but the remainder though trying hard have as yet little idea of position play. Putaruru won by four goals to nil, the scorers being Misses C.
