[ MEETING OF SUPPLIERS, i Gathering at Matamata. The annual meeting of Matamata district suppliers of the New Zealand jCo-operative Dairy Company Ltd. was held at Matamata on Thursday afternoon, Mr. H. Rollett presiding over a good attendance. Mr. J. Bryant, director, was present, and apologised if or the absence of other directors tnrho were attending a meeting of the hoard in Hamilton. Mr. Parlane gave a full report of she year’s business and intimated Khat although the figures were not gret available the bonus would be a Substantial one. Mr. Bryant congratulated Mr. Parlane upon his accession to the general
managership, which sentiment was heartily endorsed by the meeting. Mr. Eollett said he had never known Mr. Parlane give a better address than he had treated the meeting to that afternoon. (Applause.) Mr. S. H. Judd moved that it be a recommendation to the directors to consider the advisability of taking over the Challenge Phosphate Company, permitting other co-operative dairy companies to take shares.— Carried unanimously. The following suppliers’ committees were appointed:— Hinuera Valley.—Messrs. G. Conder, A. E. Eandrup and F. Germann. Peria.—Messrs. A. H. Lamboume, A. A. Potts, J. Pohlen and H. Eollett. Turanga-o-moana.—Messrs. J. Carruthers, Mockerage and H. Gouk. Te Poi. —Messrs. T. S. Ferguson, J. H. Dalton and G. H. Seed. Pairere.—Messrs. S. H. Judd, J. W. Anderson and Sefton Banks.
