SHOOTING.
OKOROIRE GUN CLUB. There was a good attendance at the shoot conducted by the Olcoroire Gun Club, at Okoroire, on Saturday, when the second round for Mr. N. L. Higginson’s trophy and sweepstakes were contested. Results were:— No. 1 Shoot, 7 birds.—E. Green and C. Green (possible), 1. No. 2 Shoot, 7 birds.—E. Green and J. Amundsen 1. No. 3 Shoot, Mr. Higginson’s trophy (silver rose bowl), second round, 12 birds. —J. Amunsden (possible) 1, E. Green (11) 2. With the final shoot yet to he contested J. Amunsden heads the list with 22 to his credit, while E. Green with 19 is next. No. 4 Shoot, 7 birds.—E. Green 1, W. Blair, C. Green and J. Amunsden (equal) 2. No. 5 Shoot.—C. Green, J. Amunsden, E. Green and D. N. Hay- (equal) 1.
