RIDING ACCOUNTS. The following financial statement was tabled by the treasurer at the last meeting of the Matamata County Council with regard to the riding finances:— Matamata.—Debit balance, £3l 10s 4d ; expenditure from April 1 to May 23, 1928, £36 7s lOd. Peria.—Debit balance, £llß 16s 6d ; expenditure from April 1 to May 23, 1928, £374 13s lOd. Tirau.—Debit balance, £69 16s 6d ; expenditure from April 1 to May 23, 1928, £23 16s lOd. Te Poi.—Credit balance, £sl 6s lOd ; expenditure from April 1 to May 23, 1928, £263 5s 7d. Okoroire.—Credit balance, £498 18s lid ; expenditure from April 1 to May 23, 1928, £146 14s 4d. Putaruru.—Debit balance, £SB 15s Sd ; expenditure from April 1 to May 23, 1928, £l2 10s 2d.
Tokoroa.—Debit balance, £22 17s Id ; expenditure from April 1 to May 23, 1928, £27 4s lOd. Maungatautari. Credit balance, £BS 4s Id ; expenditure from April 1 to May 23, 1928, £55 5s 3d. Karapiro.—Credit balance, £137 19s 8d ; expenditure from April 1 to May 23, 1928, £69 10s 7d.
