OKOROIRE TOURNAMENT. Success of W. Rice. An open tournament was held under the auspices of the Okoroire club on the Hot Springs links this week. In the principal event, the Peerless Cup, W. Rice (14) defeated Kissling, Auckland (9), by 1 up in 27 holes. Rice also won the two medal rounds. Other results were:— Bogey Handicap.—Aldred (Auckland) 1. Four-ball Best-ball. Aldred and ' Francis (Auckland) 1. j The trophies were presented by Mr. A. A. Martin (Auckland), j The tournament was admirably j conducted by Mr. O. Philpott.
