COUNTRY PARTY MEETING.

AT PUTARURU. Rotorua Seat to be Fought. An exceedingly-enthusiastic meeting of the Country Political Party was held in the Putaruru Public Hall on Tuesday. Mr. S. H. Judd (Cambridge) presided. About 40 delegates from the various branches and districts in the Rotorua electorate attended and unanimously decided to contest the Rotorua electorate when a suitable man is approved of.

An executive of 13 was appointed to proceed with general organisation and to carry on the work pending the election of a council, which would consist of a representative from each branch.
