HINUERA DAIRY COMPANY.
MEETING OF DIRECTORS. Monthly Payout Is Id Net. The monthly meeting cf the directors of the Hinuera Co-operative Dairy Company Ltd. was held on Thursday. Present : Messrs. J. E. West (chairman), I. Black, P. Corry, J. P. Harris, S. A. Clarke, 11. C. Pond and H. Hopkins. The payout for April was fixed at Is 4d per pound net for superfine. The output to date is 500 tons, an increase of 00 tons over that for the v hole of last season. The directors, after mature consideration, decided that new suppliers would in future have ro share liability. The usual share deduction of id per pound buttsrfat would be made, and shareholder- would be called upon to take up neW shares this deduction only, to the end of I each season. For example, a supplier who was supplying 32,0001 b of butterfat would be subjected to a share deduction of only £25, and instead of being saddled with 120 shares he would be allotted 25 fully-paid-up shares, bearing irUrest at 7 per cent. This system is probably unique in the history of co-operative dairying in this Dominion and constitutes an indication of the company’s sound financial position.
