SHIPMENTS OF MEAT.
FROM SOUTH AMERICA. The New Zealand Meat Producers Board has received a cable from its representative at Buenos Aires, South America, advising the following shipments to the United Kingdom for the fortnight ended April 12, 1928, from Argentine and Uruguay : 242,875 quarters chilled beef, 3015 quarters frozen beef, 83,455 carcases frozen mutton, 82,303 cai eases frozen lamb. The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same period was as follows : 44,410 quarters frozen beef, 3961 carcases frozen mutton.
