MOTORLESS TRAVEL.

TOWED ACROSS CANADA. By the simple expedient of having their car towed the whole way two men travelled right across Canada—--5100 miles—in a car which had no motor. Their story of a breakdown and plea for a tow was seldom refused, and they completed the trip in 89 days. The longest tow was given by a soft-hearted driver who dragged their chassis 417 miles. Nobody ever thought of looking under the bonnet to see if the missing engine could be repaired.
