A big effort is being made by the Putaruru School Committee to secure the 25 scholars necessary to provide the extra class for the establishment of a high school, and present appearances are that their efforts will be successful. The assistance of all parents to this end is asked for, and with their hearty cooperation the higher status will shortly become an established fact.
