The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board has received the following cable from its London office, dated March 23, 1928, advising Smithfield delivered prices at that date as follows :

Frozen Pork.—Porkers, 601 bto 801 b 7d, 811 b to 991 b 6ld, 1001 b to 1201 b 6ld; baconers, 1211 b to 180'ib 6Sd. Lamb.—Consumption is still good. Muvtc-n Market:—Heavier arrivals easing prices. Beef.—Small stocks on hand are sufficient to supply demand. Frozen Pork.—Bolb to 1201 b, prices are slightly weaker owing to good supplies and lower prices of Home killed; 1211 b to 1801 b, market firm.

The market for New Zealand lamb is weaker. The demand not improved by change in prices.
