A telegram has been received by the Matamata branch of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union from the Minister of Agriculture intimating that the headquarters of the GovernStock Inspector are to remain at Matamata.—Matamata Record.

Consequent on the retirement of r leld Inspector Pemberton and the return of Senior Field Inspector Pollock to local duty the latter will exercise supervision over the Hamilton district, including the western portion of the borough. Senior Field Inspector Galvin assumes supervision over the area which embraces the eastern portion of the borough, Cambridge, Matamata, Rotorua, Taupo and Tokaanu districts.
