L. MAINTENANCE OF ROAD. The District Engineer advised the Matamata County Council at its meeting on Friday that the Public ed Works Department did not intend to he continue the maintenance of the Pued taruru-Arapuni road after April 30 ril next. The letter stated that the Den- partment’s traffic had decreased to a -- great extent, while tourist and other traffic had increased greatly.
