WEDDING BELLS.
PAULSEN—VINCENT. A wedding of interest in Tatuanui was celebrated at the Methodist Church, Buckland (Pukekohe), on March 1, when Miss Lily Paulsen, youngest daughter of Mr. and the late Mrs. P. Paulsen, of Buckland, was married to Mr. Herbert Vincent, of Tatuanui, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent, Somerset, England. Rev. Garlick, of Morrinsville, performed the ceremony. The bride wore a pretty dress of white satin trimmed with silver lace and a shoulder posy of orange blossom, while a tulle veil and coronet of orange blossom completed her toilette. She carried a sheath of lilies. The bridesmaids were the Misses Myrtle and Vera Paulsen, sisters of the bride, who wore attractive frocks of mauve and apricot crepe de chine and carried bouquets of asters and gaillardias. Mr. J. Walsh, of Tatuanui, was best man, and Mr. R. Paulsen was groomsman. A reception was held at the residence of the bride’s parents, about 30 guests being present. After the ceremony the couple left by car for their honeymoon. On their return they will take up their residence at Tatuanui.
PILLING—PAGE. The marriage of Miss Winifrede Mary Page, of London, to Mr. F. V. Pilling, of Motumaoho, was quietly solemnised on Tuesday morning, March 6, at the Church of Assumption, Onehunga, by Monsignor Cahill. Miss Margaret Hargreaves attended as bridesmaid and Mr. V. Hargreaves was best man. Only near relatives were present. The bridal couple left afterwards for Rotorua. Their future home will be at Motumaoho.
