The syndicate is headed by Harry* Jayne Whitney, and it undertakes to expend £10,000.000 to develop the “Flinton" mine, while me Government undertake to provide 84 miles of railway lines /to tap the new distiict. A town of 4000 people has already sprung into being. The Government engineers report that the property contains one of the greatest deposits of copper, zinc and gold in the world. Tne Government has announced that it has awarded the contract, for the railway, and construction will start immediately.
