Waikato east tournament. Popular Meeting. The second annual lawn tennis tournament under the auspices of the Waikato East Association was held at Matamata on December 31 and January 2 and 3. The weather was ideal, and there was a great increase in the number of entries received over the initial tournament held at Tirau last year. The arrangements made by the Matamata club were excellent.
