INCREASE RECORDED. A further good increase’ is recorded in the flocks of Great Britain by the last census, the total number of sheep and lambs being 16,859,000, or 884.000 more than on June 4, 1925. The rate, of increase was rather slower than in the previous two years, but the flocks have been increased by 3,421,000, or over 25 per cent., in four years, and \re now only 400.000, or less than 24 per cent., smaller than in 1914.
