ANOTHER LUCKY BABY.
PERAMBULATOR WRECKED. For the . second • time ■ this week a baby has escaped when its pcrambultor was completely wrecked. A large private 'motor-car crashed into the rear of a one-ton lorry at a cross-roods at Nunliead, S.E., last night. So great: was the impact that the body of the car was knocked completely off the framework and thrown on to the pavement, smashing a .perambulator containing a.baby. The child escaped with two small cuts and the man and woman in the motor-car were unhurt. The previous perambulator escape occurred at Ipswich on Wednesday, when a charabanc skidded on to the pavement.
