VALEDICTORY.
MRS. C. RUNCIMAN. At a meeting of the Putaruru Presbyterian Ladies’ Guild held at Mrs. Gawith’s residence last Wednesday a presentation was made to Mrs. Runeiman, who is shortly leaving for Tauranga. In the unavoidable absence of Rev. W. T. Brabyn, the president, Mrs. Begbie spoke in eulogistic terms of Mrs. Runciman’s zeal in connection with the work of the guild, and, on behalf of the members, presented her with a beautiful rose bowl. Mrs. Runeiman feelingly returned thanks.
