HANDLING DOMINION'S MEAT.
ARRANGEMENTS AT LONDON. The New Zealand Meat Producers Board advises that, after correspondence lasting nine months, the Port of London Authority has now advised that it has decided to purchase at once 25 new insulated railway trucks for the transit of frozen meat from ships’ sides to dock stores. These new trucks will be brought into use at the earliest possible date, and with this additional equipment the London Authority hopes to be able to deal satisfactorily with the traffic.
