COMING OF AGE.

MR. G. BROWN. A delightful party was given by Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Brown in the Putaruru Hall last Tuesday evening, to celebrate the coming of age of their son Gordon. The hall looked very pretty, the decorations of streamers being most artistic. A very jolly time was spent in dancing, interspersed with games until supper. This was served on the stage and proved exceptionally delicious. After supper, dancing was again indulged in, the music throughout the evening being supplied by Pearse’s Peerless Five, with extras by Mrs. Barnes (piano) and Mr. C. Palmer (violin). A very merry party broke up in the early hours of the morning.
