HYDE—HIBERT.
A very pretty wedding was solemnised in the Anglican Church, Waitoa, on Wednesday, July 7, when Daniel Dee, second son of Mr. and Mrs. Hammond Hyde, of Waitoa, whs united in the bonds of matrimony to Elizabeth Maud, eldest daughter 'of Mr. and Mrs. Hibert, of Kawakawa, Bay of Islands. The bridesmaids were Miss Dorothy Hyde, sister of the 'bridegroom, and Miss Irene Hibert, sister of the bride. Mr. A. Stewart, of Auckland, acted as best man, and Mr. Guy Moore, of Waitoa, as groomsman. The bride was becomingly attired in a dress of ivory- brocade satin and chilled veil and carried a shower bouquet; ; while- both bridesmaids were dressed in pink crepe 1 de chine and also carried 'shower bouquets-.’ Rev. R. il Connolly, of Te Aroha, was the officiating clergyman. The bridegroom’s present to the bride was a string of beautiful pearls, to Miss Dorothy Hyde a set of ebony brushes, and td Miss Irene Hibert a suitablyengraved signet ting. The bride’s present to the bridegfoom’ was -a gold tie -pin. The decorations- were earried out under the supervision of Mrs.' Edwards, while Mrs.'Cr Davis’played the Wedding March. After the wedding ceremony over 100 guests adjourned to the hall, where the - wedding" breakfast ! was served. Visitors, who "were‘ "'present from many districts outside Waitoa, included Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Martin, Miss Martin and Mr.'T. Martin, late of Waitoa and now of Otorohanga, and Mr. and Mrs. G. Warren, of Okoroire. J " In the evening a highly-en joy able dance was given in honour of the occasion by the bridegroom's parents. Messrs. C. Davis and W. Hyde acted as M.’s C.—Te Aroha News.
