GREASE ON CARPET.

To remove grease spilt on a carpet, add a desertspoonful of ammonia to half a pint of hot water, and scrub the grease marks with a stiff brush dipped into the liquid. Rub dry with a clean cloth. Then make a paste of fuller’s earth and cold water, spread over the spots, and leave till Quite dry. Then brush off.
