PUTARURU GOLF CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Putaruru Golf Club was held on ' Wednesday, 14th inst., when there was a good! attendance of members. The balancesheet for the past year was read and disclosed that the finances of the club were in a satisfactory condition. Tire election of officers resulted as follows : Patron, Mr. A. G. Leggatt; president, Mr. F. C. Barnett ; vicepresident, Mr. J. Murphy ; secretary and treasurer, Mr. G. L. Martin ; committee, Messrs. C. D. Brown, L. Sole, F. Wright, H. J. Pearse and Dr. Haslett ; captain, Mr. R. >F. Brown; vice-captain, Mr. Frank Tomalin. It was decided to get the links in order and a working bee was decided on as a means of carrying out the work.
