BUTTER AND CHEESE.
MARKET REPORTS. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London office, under date of 31st ult.:— “ Butter: The market is quiet. We quote: New Zealand butter at 1745, exceptional brands at 176; Danish butter at 192; finest Australian salted at 1735, unsalted at 174. “ Cheese: The market is slow. N.Z. cheese, white at 965, coloured at 975.”
