GOOD AVERAGES. Mr. P. Rusliton, of Tatuanui, has 160 cows that are doing very well this season. The factory average for 130 at the end of the last dairying season was over 2901 b of butterfat. This i season the number has been increased and divided into two herds, one of approximately 90 Jerseys and the other of over 60 crossbreds. The factory average for the two herds combined for December was over 401 b of butterfat. The larger herd had an average test for the past few months varying from 4.S to 5, those for the smaller herd being from 4 to 4.2.
