SHIPMENTS OF MEAT.

NEW ZEALAND EXPORTS. The New Zealand Meat Producers Board reports that the shipments from New Zealand for November arc as follow:—13,510 quarters of beef, 110,381 carcases of mutton, 27,194 carcases of lamb. Killings at all works for November are as follow, the figures being for North Island, South Island and total in that order: Beef (quarters), |18,789, 2, 18,791; wether mutton I(carcases), 85,581, 41, 85,622; ewe mutton (carcases), 22,729, 0, 22,729; lamb (carcases), 37,192, 938, 38,130; sundries (freight carcases), 17,011, 907, 17,918. The stocks on hand total:—Beef (quarters), 19,487; wether mutton (carcases), 58,940; ewe mutton (carcases), 18,513; lamb (carcases), 33,197; sundries (freight carcases), 22,565. SOUTH AMERICAN SHIPMENTS. Ihe New Zealand Meat Producers Board has received a cable from its representative at Buenos Aires, South America, advising the following shipments to the United Kingdom for the fortnight ended November 29, 1924, from Argentine and Uruquay : 220,429 quarters chilled beef; 16,537 quarters frozen beef; 32,150 carcases frozen mutton; 75,833 carcases frozen lamb. The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same period totalled : frozen beef; 26,173 carcases frozen mutton.
