SHIPMENTS OF MEAT
FROM SOUTH AMERICA. The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board has received a cable from its representative at Buenos Aires, South America, advising - the following shipments to the United Kingdom for the fortnight ended November 1, 1924, from Argentine and Uruquay:—l72,775 quarters chilled beef, 11,224 quarters frozen beef, 24,146 carcases frozen mutton, 33,877 carcases frozen lamb. 1 he quantity shipped to the Continent of F.urope during the same period totalled: 60,558 quarters frozen beef, 12,108 carcases frozen mutton.
