“ I thought you were someone else. I am sorry I hit you on the head with the axe.” This apology was tendered to a Sydney man the other day by a man who had struck him on the head with an axe. The assailant and a woman with him disappeared. The injured man was taken to the hospital and three stitches were inserted in wounds on his head. He explained that while on his way home he felt tired, and sitting on a step in front of a house, stayed there a few minutes. Suddenly the front door was opened, and the man attacked him.
