Damage to county roads being- clone by settlers through the use of improvised or unusual vehicles was commented upon by Cr. E. J. Darby at the Matamata County Council meeting on Friday. Ho asked wliat attitude was expected of councillors when they observed people breaking the by-laws in this manner. The chairman suggested that the ranger be informed and that the councillors offer to give evidence.
