“Is it safe? Stop! Look! Listen,” is the wording of a number of sheets of “ stickers ” forwarded by the New Zealand Railways Department to the Matamatta County Council for use on the back of envelopes or a motor driver’s certificate. The “stickers” which is part of the Department’s ‘ careful crossing ” campaign, also bears a vivid picture of a smash between a train and a motor car on a crossing.
