WEDDING BELLS.
BROWN MURDOCK | i i A pretty wedding of Idea! int rc.-l ' was celebrated at the home of the bridegroom's parents at liinuern rc- 1 ccntiy, the parties being Miss Annie Edgar Murdock, granddaughter of , Mrs. M. Murdock, Gia.-.gcw, .Scotland, and Mr. William George Scott Biown, ( eldest son :>L Mr. and Mrs. Ghas. ! Brown. The Rev. 11. C. Stuart wag ! the olliciating* clergyman. The bride was charmingly attired in a dress of ivory satin with flowing veil adorned with orange blossoms. She was attended by the bridegroom’s younger sister, Miss Violet. Brown, while Mr. Charles Brown, junr., acted as best man. After the ceremony the customary reception, and wedding breakfast was held at which were present a number of relatives and friends. The happy couple left by the evening train for the honeymoon, amid showers of confetti. The bride travelled in ci smart frock of dove-grey garberejine. • f ----- - WALSH—BROWN. A very pretty wjpdding was soieni- I nised at Hinuera, by Ifev. 11. C. Stu- j art, last Wednesday when Miss Grace May Bio wn was married to Mr. Justin Walsh, eldest son of Mrs. L. and the late Mr. Walsh, late of Tc Awa* mu Lu. The bride wore a beautiful dress of ivory silk crepe and an em- - broidered tulle veil. She carried a shower boquot of white flowers and ferns. In the evening the bride’s parents gave an “At Home” in the hall in honour of their daughter’s marriage. The hall was beautifully decorated by friends with festoons and flowers, while the bridal bouquet acted as decoration for the central table on the stage. Mrs. Brown, the bride’s mother, received her guests in a smart embroidered dress of nigger brown crepe de chenc. Dancing was the chief attraction of the evening, while most acceptable musical items were given by Mrs. S. Clark, Misses P. and R. Barnes, Air. W. Settle and Mr. W. Kenned v (bagpipes).
