Hokitika Fatalities.

CAPSIZE OF AN OIL-LAUNCH. TWO MEN DROWNED, Hokitika, April 0. The Pol ico have received advice that owing to the capsize of a boat two men, named Claude Webb and Alfred May, wore drowned yesterday afternoon when crossing the Karangarua bar, South Westland, in Chinn’s oil-launch, used in connection with tho llaxmilling industry. Tho bodies have not yet been recovered. Both victims were young men. Webb’s parents reside at Christchurch, while May is not long from England. I Later. The body of Claude Webb has been recovered. An elderly woman, Mrs Bwaine, has been missing for some days. A young man, named Henry Feeney, aged 25, is also missing, and it is feared both have been drowned in the Hokitika River.
