WEBB CHALLENGES TOWNS. Wanganui, April 0. On tiio understanding that George Towns intends forfeiting the World's Bculling Championship to bis brother Charlie, W. li. Tuck, on behalf ol Webb, has deposited ,1100 with the editor of the Wanganui lie raid to bind a match for the T-calling Championship. The challenge has been cabled to Towns and a Sydney paper. Wobb suggests that the race bo rowed on 29th June. Sydney, April 7. George Towns has relinquished the championship to his brother Charles. It is believed that the latter’s first contest will ho with Webb.
