Seattle (Wash) Pantor, Although Urgert to Remain, Withdraw* from Ministry and Give* Reasons. Rev. Thomas C. Wiswell, pastor of University Congregational church, in Seattle, Wash., resigned his pastorale recently and announced his withdrawal from the ministry because of his objection to sectarianism and orthodox theology. Mr. Wiswell is a socialist and holds very liberal theological views, He read an address giving his reasons for resigning, charging, among other things, that the church is bigoted and subservient to mammon. He is popular with his congregation, who urged him to remain. Mr. Wiswell is a graduate of the Chicago Theological seminary and has been pastor of University church for six years.
