London Markets, LONDON, June 28. The money market is firmer, owing to the expectation of a scarcity of supplies. Three months bills are quoted at 3| per cent. The English wheat market is dull, the Continent >1 firm, and the American steady Colonial oats, common sorts, 22s fid; beans, 83s. The total number of bales catalogued at the wool sales up to daie is 58,400, of which 13,2 0 bare been held over. Leather, best sides, B£d. Wellington Markets. George Thomas & Co* report produce prices as follows:—The only noticeable feature in a dull week has been the news from Sydney of a brisker demand for New Zea and potatoes, the consequence of which has immediately shown itself in the Waihora, Hanroto, and Wairarapa leaving with cargoes, the greater proportion of which are potatoes. We hope they will not have a depressing effect on a somewhat susceptible market. We quote short oats at Is lOd to Is lid * comr mon to good feed, Is 8d to Is lOd ; Tartarian seed, 2s to 2s Id; flour moves off steadily at £9 5b to £9 15s for roller, and £8 10s to £8 16s for stone process; whole fowls’ wheat, 2s to 2a lid broken, 2s2d to 2s fid; bran, £3 l Os; pollard, £4; wheatmeal, £9; maize, 3s 3d: feed barley, 2s 3d; beans, 3s 8d to 3s 9d; peas, 3s lOcl to 4s; Derwent potatoes, £2 15s; kidney and fluke do., £4 to £4 10s peach blossoms, *3 10a; Breeze’s prolific, £4 10s; onions have taken an upward movement, and are now firm at £5 10s per ton; grass seeds are unenquired for ; oatmeal, £9 :Os to £lod- cheese, 4£d to 4|d; hams and bacon, 6}d to 7d ; fresh butter,scarce, lid ; salt do., 8d ; eggs have dropped to Is per doz.; honey, 4sd.
