That an unlimited number of: inembers be admitted at any time during the existence of the Association on payment of one shilling entrance. 2. That members allowing their subscriptions of one shilling weekly to fall in arrears, over three weeks, forfeit ah right to membership without (L .notice of such forfeiture.: 8. That a secretary be appointed to receive all payments, and Band , them over to the Secretary of the ' Pelorus Road Board, who shall be • Treasurer of the Association. 4; That the'privilege of membership shall be to participate equally in any of the profits arising from the discovery of gold or other, minerals. ' 5, That the Government be applied to for assistance in such way as may he deemed best by the Pelorus Road Board, and that all funds of the Association shall be appropriated, first, to payment of wages and appliances, and any surplus to be held in reserve for applications of lease or other contingent expenses. 6. That in the event of any discovery, or starting any enterprise, that ; vvilT entail expenses beyond the. existing capital of the Association, a special meeting shall be called by the ! Secretary by advertisement in the Guardian, to consider what steps shall be taken to raise the money required. 1 7.
