THE TOWN HALL.
TO THE EDITOR. Sib, —Many years ago there was a movement on foot to extend the present Town Hall back to the Town Board' office, ereqt a permanent stage, and other improvements, so' as to give reasonable facilities to those who' provide amusements for the public. Nothing practical was done, and on many occasions the building has shown its incapacity to accommodate the number who attended. Now it only requires starting, and our young friends would readily give their services for an entertainment to provide funds for the extension, these could be supplemented by the Tgwn JBqard, and we shoulq 1 then have a building no 'one wquld be ashamed of, but one that would be a credit to Havelock. I am, &c, Suggestion.
