HAVELOCK TOWN BOARD.

A meeting of the above was held in their office last evening. Present—Messrs Scott, Price, Perry, and 0. H. Mills in the chair. Eesolved, That Mr Davidson has no further claim against the Board for erecting shed on the wharf. The Secretary stated that arrears of rates were coming/in slowly.

The Chairman mentioned that it would be most desirable for a delegate to be appointed to attend a conference re proposed alterations of electoral boundaries, when the date was fixed.

The following accounts were passed for payment:—Government Auditor, £1 13s 4d; Brownlee and Co, £8 16s lid; Jones 6s sd; Hackett, 14s 9d; Brown, £1 8s 8d; clerk licensing bench, 12s 6&

The Board then adjourned until Monday, April 14.
