PELORUS LICENSING DISTRICT According to the provisions of the : : “ Licensing Act, 1871,” and the amendments thereto, and of the “ Regulations of the Local Elections Act, 1876,” and amendments. NOTICE is herby given that an Election of Eive Members to form the Licensing Committee of the above District will be held in the office of the Pelorus Road Board, Havelock, on the 19th day of Eebruary, 1890. Nominations in the form of the Second Schedule of the “ Regulation of Local Elections Act, 1876,” will be received by the undersigned at Havelock, not later than Noon on WEDNESDAY, the 12th day of Eebruary, 1890. PELORUS ROAD BOARD. is hereby given that the Board will, at a Special Meeting, to be held on March 4, 189 J, pass a Special Order making By-laws for the regulation and maintenance of Slaughter Yards, and fixing a penalty. for any breach of auca regulation, also for prohibiting the running at large of Pigs and Goats in' any part of the district.
