MR. TYREE’S ART GALLERY.

Wa have been shown a large and varied number of vie.vs of Havelock ml the Peiorus Valley, 1 taken by Mr f. R. Akerstea, the local .'manager of Tyree’s art gallery. First there are four views of Havelock, taken from different positions, and taking in the a are.our and surrounding hills, all of wnion, not only mire a pretty picture, oat are well executed. Going up the Peiorus Valley we have one of the 3-ackball mill, looking ' down the Palorus Valley; also another showing the mill, bat giving a large view of the surrounding scenery, and showing the mouth of the Peiorus River. After finis comes one of Canvas town. Then there are two others which give an excellent view of the beautiful scenery up the Peiorus Valley, showing the native foliage to great advantage. The next is one of the Peiorus Bridge, and is one of the best, and gives a correct impression of the marrow-like water which is so often mot with in these parts. The reflections are really beautiful, and would call forth the admiration of any artist or admirer of the aeautiful. One of the Rai Valley falls comes nest, and is one of the sights in that pictures gue valley showing the oeautiful foliage overhanging the river. Tiiere is no doubt a, great advantage to be derived by these views being circulate! in other part:), as it would be the me ms of attracting tourists to Havelock and the Souiids.
