[Per United Press Association.] Timaru, December 24. The first wool sale of the season was held yesterday, Christchurch, December 24, Mrs. Buller, widow of the late Rev, James Buller, died on Tuesday. J. W. Crabtree has been committed for trial for horse stealing. N. B. Kidman committed suicide on Tuesday night.
