SUPREME COURT.

IN BANKRUPTCY. Re Maria Smith. Mr. Finn appeared for the assignee. The debtor passed tier public examination, and the bankruptcy was closed. Re Walter Knights. Mr. Turton for tbe debtor. Examination passed and bankruptcy declared closed. Re L. G. Direy. Mr. Kenny for the debtor. The assignee reported that the conduct 0! the debtor had been to a certain extent reckless One fourth* of his liabilities being due o hotel keepers. The examination - was adjourned until the next sittings of the Court. Re IF. H. Flood. Mr. Whitcomhe fi.r the debtor. Examinaiion passed, and the bankruptcy closed. * Re E. A. Pavitt. ' Mr. Nolan .for the debtor. The debtor passed hia public examination and the bankruptoy wa. declared cloMd. De Pent Ilcihet. Mr. Watson lor the debtor. The Assignee’s report not being favorable to the debtor, and as there were further assets to be realized, his public examination was adjourned. Ke D. McCarthy, The Assignee reported that the debtor had been reckless in his business transactions, and that he had not given assistance,in anyway to liquidate the estate. 1

The Assignee reported very unfavourably as to the conduct of the debtor. He had kept no books and refused to give an account of his receipts and expenditure. The debtor had been apparently dishonest and he had committed perjury in connection whith his affairs in the It.M. Court. The examination was adjourned until the next sittings of the Court. Be E. O’Meara. Mr. DeLautour appeared for Mr. Nolan for the debtor. The report of the Assignee went to show that the Assignee had been reckless, as he had received considerable Bums of money, and could not give an account of how he had disposed of them.
