RULES AND REGULATIONS : No entry will be received for any race, except upon the condition that all claims, dispntes, and objections arising shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decision upon all points shall be final. Second horse to save stakes in all Handi* cap Races, hacks excepted. All protests must be entered within fifteen minutes of the finish of a race, and must be accompanied with a deposit of 3 sovs., which sum shill be forfeited to the funds if the protest Wnot sustained. All entries, and acceptances, the necessary amount in cash, to the Hon. Secretary, Masonic Hotel, Gisborne, not later on the specified dates. No be received through the post, after unless previously advised bjHßfe. General entry riight, Saturday, 13th of December. Qualification fee, 1 sov., payable at same time. The rules and weights of the Poverty Bay Turf Club will be adhered to. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes.
