Gallant Rescue.
jOIVN CoiUiBSfOSUm.) Christchurch, December 7. A gallant rescue was made by a boy 15 years old in the river Avon jesterday after* noon. The boy, whose name is Nelson, though he could not awim, jumped into the river and saved a little girl 7 years old, who had fallen off the Montreal street bridge into deep water.
